With the latest integration of Smartphone applications users can take advanTAGe of the remote control settings via their iPhone 4S or Tablet.

So what can customers expect from the latest 2012television releases from Panasonic?

The new additions for Panasonic Plasma Televisions from 2012 are the U50, XT50, UT50, ST50, GT50 and the top-of-the-range VT50. The VT50 is the flagship plasma television from Panasonic, it features the new Infinite Black panel Neoplasm Ultra and has improved contrast and black levels. The all new Panasonic VT50 also features the expanded Viera Connect online suite. This has been updated to include more applications including an inbuilt web browser, integrated WiFi and through an exclusive venture with MySpace, offers a direct connection to MySpace TV. The VT50 is currently planned to be released in two sizes for the American market, at 55 and 65 inches, and a 50 inch version should be available for the UK and Europeanmarkets.

The GT50 Panasonic Plasma television is available in four different sizes, 50, 55, 60 and 65 inch screens, although a 42 inch version is expected to be released for the UK market. The GT50 televisions also feature improved contrast and black levels, however, it only has the Infinite Black Pro, rather than the Ultra used by the VT50 version. The GT50 also has the expanded Viera Connect Suite installed, containing the built-in web browser and other new applications, however it does not have the Social Networking features of MySpace TV.

Considered by many to be Panasonic's best value and most affordable large screen plasma television the ST50 comes in a variety of sizes from 42 inches up to 65 inches, the ST50 series also employs the InfiniteBlack Pro panel giving enhanced contrast and black levels. Unfortunately the inbuilt web browser capabilities of the VT and GT series is not available with the Panasonic ST50 and it also comes with three, rather than the standard four HDMI ports. Nevertheless, the Panasonic ST50 large screen plasma television provides one of the best quality televisions at an affordable price.

With improved active 3D technology available with the latest 2012 releases, Panasonic continues its relationship with THX. Panasonic will have six full HD 3D Plasma Televisions that are certified in both 2D and 3D mode certified to meet the stringent standards set by Hollywood's top film makers.

Samsung – The Best LED TV on the Market For Many Reasons

Samsung – The Best LED TV on the Market For Many Reasons

Samsung is presently producing the best led tv line of any manufacturer. If you're about to purchase a new Hdtv, look at Samsung before you spend your money!

Samsung – The Best LED TV on the Market For Many Reasons

Just when you thought Hdtv could not get any better, Samsung has taken it further, much further. By taking a very old technology, the LED (light-emitting diode), and the many advances that have been made in the field, Samsung has been releasing the best LED TV on the market.

Whether it be in the LED Lcd Hdtv line or the new Samsung LED DLP HDTV line, these new televisions are producing images that are simply stunning. With contrasts ratios of 500.000: 1 being offered in current Lcd devices, as well as blur-free imaging, these Lcd HDTVs aren't what you're usedto seeing. With much brighter, more vibrant colors as well words really can't do justice, the images they truly must be seen to be believed.

Not only has the Samsung worked their magic in the Samsung LED LCD TV line, but they have also advanced the DLP LED TV sets in leaps and bounds.

DLP is Texas InstruMent's amazing chip that houses millions of microscopic mirrors that can switch states at incredible speeds, offering the best images in projection television (and commercial applications as well) that have ever been seen. That, of course, was until Samsung decided to set the bar even higher.

The older versions of the DLP system used in high power arc lamp as the light source for the DLP system. There was also a spinning color wheel used in those original devices. WhatSamsung has done with their new line of DLP LED TV technology is to take the best of the old and improve on it greatly.

Instead of using the arc lamp, which is costly to operate (and replace every few years) they use their own LED light source. They've also eliminated the spinning (whining) color wheel, which is one less item to break or wear out. This isn't about changing for the sake of changing though, these changes have resulted in HDTVs that have up to a 40% brighter image, with such brilliant color capability that many high definition sources can't even fully take advanTAGe of the increased color gamut, as of yet anyway.

Of course without the high powered lamp to power on, the Samsung LED DLP TV also has near ly instantaneous startup. Add to that a much lower operatingcost by not powering the arc lamp, and the savings that will be realized when you don't have to replace the lamps, and these devices are attractive in so many ways ... even including the surprisingly low cost.

Although it's still possible to get a comparable image on the highest priced plasma sets, why pay several times more to do it? Especially when the plasma tubes have a relatively short life and are on their way to the old technology heap in a very Fast way.

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

In the last 10 years, a multitude of new flat-screen TV technology have been commercialised, all with excellent improveMents over past technology. The Fast advanceMent in technology has left a lot of us behind, as most of us don't hold degrees in electronics. So what are the key differences between these new TVs?

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

LCD vs Plasma vs LED TVs-Differences Explained

Plasma TV

These are the oldest of the new flat-screens. They came around at about the same time as Lcd TV, but they were much cheaper for their size, which is why they were more popular upon introduction. Plasma screens use a gas, which turns into a plasma when an electrical current is passed through them, emitting light.

Plasma TV pros:

-Cheaper compared with other flat-screens for the same size.

-Generally better, more realistic colour than Lcd TVs.

-Deeper blacks and higher contract ratio than Lcd TVs.

-Do not suffer from motion blur. Plasma screens have Fast refresh rates, so moving objects appear less blurred.

-Wider viewing angle than LCD TVs.

Cons: Plasma

-Less lifespan than other flat-screens. Plasmas are predicted to last 10-15 years, whereas LCD TVs will last twice that or more.

-Plasma uses much more power to run.

-Do not come in all sizes (they do not come in small sizes, and only come in a few set sizes, e.g. 42 inch, 50 inch, 60 inch.).

-Usually a little thicker, and much heavier than the others.

-Is more susceptible to reflection glare in bright rooms.

LCD TV

LCD panels first came to existence in the form of Computer monitors. The technology itself has been around for many years. It is the same basic technology as the screen on a pocket calculator. LCD TV generally refers to a fluorescent backlit LCD TV. This is not to be confused with the newer LED TV, which is technically still an LCD TV with LED backlit technology corridor.

AdvanTAGes:

-Better lifespan than plasma screens. Predicted lifespan of 30 + years is possible.

- LCD screens use less power than plasma, but more than LED TV.

-Comes in many sizes, from Computer screens to 60 + inch displays.

-Lighter than a plasma, hence easier to mount on the wall.

-While prices for LCD TVS have beenhigher than plasma, it is falling quickly with increased production.

DisadvanTAGes:

-Worst panel in terms of performance: lowest contrast level and slow (motion blur possible).

-Narrower viewing angle, with slight colour shifting possible for any particular viewer.

LED TV

LED TV is technically actually LCDbacklit with LEDs, but rather than fluorescent light source/s. This technology is the next generation in LCD screens.

Differences between LED-backlit LCD and current technology:

LED-backlit produces much greater dynamic contrast owing to its direct backlighting effect.

-LED TVs can be made extremely thin, down to around an inch thick.

-LED TVs consume the least power out of all three screentypes.

-LED TVs currently cost much more than LCD, but the prices are expected to fall dramatically as production increases.

LED TVs are considered to be the most reliable out of all current flat-screen systems.

I hope this makes your search for a suitable TV an easier experience!
